英语人物描写（英文写作中如何描写人物）
关于描述技能的提升建议：以写人为例
描述人物，不外乎外表（appearance）和个性（personality），多数同学总喜欢用形容词、副词，这样会显得单调空洞。有一个4S建议可以帮助我们写的更生动。
1. Speeches：用人物对话、独白。例如：‘Do you call that a hat?’ I said to my wife.
用这样一个反问句，表达出作者对妻子那顶帽子的不满。
2. Senses：从不同感官入手。例如：Margaret never wore high heels,and when she walked she ducked her head. Now she stared at the hair dye on theshelf in front of her, biting her nail.
这里观察到走路时“duck（勾着头）”、“stare（盯着染发剂）”、“bite（咬指甲）几个动作，表现出描写的对象可能不愿意引人注目。
3. Scenes：写一个静止的场景。例如：The woman stood at the window of an expensive shop. She hesitated for a moment before she walked infinally.
通过“站在橱窗前（stood at the window）”、“犹豫（hesitated）” 这样的场景，表现出这位女士不是很富有。
4. Similes：用比喻的手法。例如：Her hair shinesin the light as water shines in the night.
写美丽的长发，将之比作夜里闪光的水。
